Armstrong Farms Wedding

Sierra & Alex’s – Armstrong Farms Wedding – Westminster Preserve

Okay if you love love stories, beautiful blue skies, lakeside views, amazing details, and adorably sweet couples – you’re going to love Sierra & Alex’s Armstrong Farm’s Wedding.

Their Love Story

Sierra met Alex when she was in high school and they were  both working at Einstein Bagels. They became great friends and talking for hours on end. Alex said he’s known he loved Sierra since the first time he saw her. Sierra on the other hand realized she had fallen for Alex when she was sick with bronchitis and Alex cared for her. Sierra said, “I hadn’t been able to sleep in several days, I was irritable and not happy and he came and took care of me and listened to me cry and cough for hours and after days of this he still had the same look of love for me as he did on my best days.”

College & Beyond

Even though they both went to different colleges they still decided that they were both ready to pursue a relationship. Sierra told us they were both “certain about marriage, religion and having multiple children (all important topics!).” Alex proposed two days before Christmas on their traditional Christmas time date to go skating at PPG place. Sierra said it was “sweet, romantic, and very sentimental” because they had gone every year with each other. This was even before they started dating. Their friendship was key to a strong relationship.

The Wedding Day

When Sierra and Alex told us about their Armstrong Farms Wedding we were instantly hooked. Seriously this place is amazingly gorgeous. The only hitch was an outdoor wedding at the end of July – talk about hot. But it was AMAZING. The weather was 75 and breezy. And everything went off without a hitch. Sierra’s dress was stunning, the flowers were perfect, all the details came together, the naked cake and cupcakes looked wonderful. And the sky was blue with scattered whisking clouds. Seriously no one could ask for a better day to get married on. We can’t wait for you to see the story of their day. But none of it couldn’t have come together without all of the hard work of Sierra, Alex, and all their amazing vendors.
