Last week I decided to stop by Cohill Fashion, a store I had walked past a million times, but have never had a reason to stop in. That was a wrong decision those million times before. I found out that Carleen, our neighbor from a few years ago owned the shop! What a small world Beaver Falls is. This was wonderful since I felt a little awkward walking randomly into a women’s clothing store. But, Carleen is one of the nicest people we know so seeing her there I felt like I was welcomed right away. We caught up on family and the neighboors and how life was going. Later, when one of her customers came in, I realized this wasn’t just how she talked to her neighbors. Carleen is so nice that she makes everyone who walks in the doors of Cohill Fashion feel like her neighbor. She takes her time with each client talking to them about what they’re looking for, patiently helps them with selections, and genuinely cares about them as clients. Now that’s something you’re not going to get at a big box store.
Like I said, I had been by Cohill Fashion a million times. It’s right on Route 18 in Beaver Falls, just down the street from Geneva College, the community we had lived in for 3 years during my undergraduate studies. They have all sorts of women’s clothes in there that I’ll be glad to tell my friends about. If your looking for casual or dressy women’s clothes they’ve got it. If you’re looking for some nice accessories, scarves, hats, purses… you name it, she might have it.
She even has a few little things around the store that aren’t available anywhere else in the area. Particularly, Snoozies, these things are super soft and really cute.
Cohill Fashion is an amazing gem of the city that more people should frequent.
